Is GetAhead based on the South African school curriculum?

Yes. GetAhead is based entirely on the South African curriculum and is OBE compliant. The content in GetAhead was authored by highly qualified South African teachers and is therefore relevant to the work your child is being taught in school.

How quickly will my child’s results improve?

That all depends on how motivated your child is to do well. The more often your child uses GetAhead, in conjunction with paying attention in class and doing the required homework he or she gets from school, the faster you’ll start seeing better results.

Is GetAhead a complete curriculum?

No. GetAhead covers between 80 – 90% of the work that your child is doing at school.

Will GetAhead teach my child everything?

No. GetAhead is designed to complement the work that your child’s educator is teaching to them in the classroom. It is recommended to use GetAhead as a revision, consolidation and self-assessment tool.

Do you update GetAhead?

Yes, and whenever there is an update available, you’ll be able to download it for free from our Product Updates page.

Is GetAhead suitable for homeschoolers?

Is there a trial version?

No. GetAhead is sold with a 6-month, full money back guarantee, so purchasing it is completely RISK FREE. For this reason we don’t offer a free trial version.

Do I need a computer?

Yes. GetAhead is educational software and you need a computer to use it.

Is GetAhead compatible with Windows 7?

Yes.

Is GetAhead compatible with Apple Mac?

Yes, but only if you are running Windows as your operating system.

Are the English and Afrikaans versions on the same CD?

Yes. Each GetAhead product has the English and Afrikaans versions on the same CD. It’s quick and easy to change between the two if you ever need to.

Should I buy GetAhead for the grade my child is in now, or for the grade he/she will be in next year?

We highly recommend that you purchase the GetAhead relevant to the grade your child is currently completing, as the activities are based on work that your child is currently doing in school.

What is the guarantee policy?

If your child uses GetAhead for 6 months and you don’t see any improvement in school results, then we will give you your money back. No questions asked!

Is it safe to shop online?

Yes! We use Virtual Card Services, a highly respected credit card processing merchant, who guarantee the safe transfer of all your personal and credit card details. Your details are kept secure throughout the entire shopping process. If you don’t want to use your credit card, you can also choose to pay by direct deposit.

Do you accept direct deposit payments?

Yes. If you want to pay directly into our bank account instead of using a credit card, simply choose the EFT option during the checkout process and our banking details will be displayed and e-mailed to you.

Do you accept international orders?

How do I return a product I’ve purchased?

If you would like to return your product you must do so within the 6-month guarantee period. Complete the Product Return Request form on this page.

Am I allowed to install GetAhead on more than one computer?

No. Each GetAhead product is sold with a Single-user License which means that it is illegal to copy the CD or install it on more than one computer. Should you wish to install your GetAhead product onto another computer, you must first uninstall it from the original computer.
